For the upcoming baseball season, the OBA has announced the following in regards to their certification process.
For level 1 and 2 umpires this year, you will be conducting an online e-learning style clinic based off various online modules. You can reach out to the Hamilton District Baseball Association in order to register for the online modules and gain access to the trainings required for your level of certification.
For level 3 umpires, this will be an exam year following the online super clinic format for last years certification process. You can register for the exam by accessing your online profile through the Baseball Ontario website like in past years and obtain your exam code to complete the exam. In addition to completing the exam you must also complete 2 other training modules and will have the opportunity to complete a few optional and advanced training modules.
