The Dennis Aldridge Award

The Dennis Aldridge Award is presented to the umpire who goes above and beyond the call of duty on the diamond to work behind the scenes and promote the values and beliefs of the HBUA. The award is named in honour of one of our brother umpires who passed away in 2006, and was dedicated to Dennis because year after year Dennis exemplified the true spirit of the HBUA.

	2007 Winner – Adam Kirilo Congratulations to Adam Kirilo on being named the first ever winner of the Dennis Aldridge Award. Adam’s contributions throughout the 2007 were unparalelled and he is most deserving of this recognition. (Left – Rita Aldridge presents the award to Adam Kirilo)
	2008 Winner – Bill Tunney No one person exemplifies the HBUA like Bill Tunney. In 2008 he served as President, Assignor and Treasurer, and worked tirelessly behind off the diamond promoting the HBUA. (Left – Adam Kirilo and Sean Elliott present the award to Bill Tunney)
