Ground Rules

Diamond A

Dugout Area
• Dead ball territory shall be defined by a diagonal line from the end of the backstop fence to the first post of the fence bordering foul territory

Outfield Area
• A ball rolling through the gaps between the end of the fences bordering foul territory and the outfield fence shall be declared out of play

Diamond C

Dugout Area
• Dead ball territory shall be defined by a diagonal line from the end of the backstop fence to the first post of the fence bordering foul territory

Outfield Area
• A ball rolling through the gaps between the end of the fences bordering foul territory and the outfield fence shall be declared out of play
• A ball which does not clear the first fence protecting the four outfield light posts in flight and subsequently lodges behind this fence shall be ruled out of play
• A batted ball which clears the protective fencing in front of the left and left-centre field light posts in flight shall be ruled a home run, regardless of whether or not it clears the fence behind the light posts
• A batted ball which clears the protective fencing in front of the right-centre field light post in flight shall be ruled a home run, provided the ball does not strike any portion of the taller right field fence and lodge behind the first fence
-A ball which clears the first fence in flight but strikes the taller fence and      remains lodged behind the first fence shall be ruled a two base award
• A batted ball which strikes the right field light post above the height of the fence shall be ruled a home run
• A batted ball which strikes the right field light post below the height of the fence shall remain in play, provided the ball does not lodge behind the fence protecting the light post
• A batted ball which clears the protective fencing in front of the right field light post in flight but strikes the second fence shall remain in play, provided the ball does not lodge behind the fence protecting the light post
