Rookie Ball & Mosquito – 2:00
Pee Wee – 2:15
Bantam, Minor Midget (U16), and Midget (U18) 7 Inning – 2:30

There is no “drop dead” time for any Hamilton home game. Please note these time limits are different than what apply to COBA games in other centres and will supercede those curfews where applicable.

The following time limits shall be in effect for all other regular season COBA games (Ancaster, Dundas, Hamilton Junior):

No new inning may begin after the following playing time, from the scheduled start time of the game:

7 inning game: 2:00. The game shall “drop dead” at 2:15.

9 inning game: 3:00 There is no “drop dead” time.

Extra innings shall be played in any event a game is tied and the game has yet to reach its curfew time.

Please note that rain (or other field condition) delay, delay due to light failure, or injury requiring a change in plate umpire are the only reasons curfew time may be extended.

It is imperative that umpires are always prepared to enter the playing field no fewer than five minutes prior to scheduled start time in order to begin the game on time. Every year, issues arise because a game was curfewed after it has begun late due to umpire delay.

Time shall be kept by one of / the base umpire(s). This shall be done using a watch or time piece, which shall be kept in the pocket of the umpire during the game.
